Rangpur leave the game against Barishal in balance

Dhaka, Nov Abdullah Al Mamun hit 65 as Rangpur Division 
reached 218-5 against Barishal on Day 2 of the fifth round game of National 
Cricket League (NCL) today at Rajshahi Stadium.

Resuming the day at 266-7, Barishal earlier were able to add 70 runs before 
being all out for 336. 

Rangpur are now trailing by 118 runs but with five wickets at hands, they 
still have the chance to topple Barishal's total.

Skipper Tanvir Islam scored 52 runs for Barishal to be the fourth batters of 
the side to bring up half-century in the first innings. Earlier Iftekhar 
Hossain Ifti (70), Salman Emon (67) and Tasamul Haque (51) brought up the 
fifties on Day 1 for Barishal.

Abdullah Al Mamun and Ariful Haque took two wickets for Rangpur.

Mamun then struck 65 to help the side make a solid start. Naeem Islam scored 
40. 

Ariful Haque was batting on 28 with Tanbir Hayder on 11 when the bails were
