Dhaka, 15 Dec - Opener Jishan Alam smashed a whirlwind 48 ball-73 as Sylhet Division ended its losing streak in the ongoing NCL T20 with a six- wicket victory over Khulna at Sylhet Academy Ground today.

Opting to bat first, Khulna were restricted to 144-7 with captain Nurul Hasan
Sohan striking 34 ball-48 [not out] to help the side edge closer to 150-run-
mark after a shaky start that saw them six down for 77 runs in 13th over.

Ebadot Hossain and Nabil Samad took two wickets apiece for Sylhet.

Jishan kick-started the NCL tournament with a blistering century but that
time his century couldn't win the match for his side. However this time, he
ensured that he would stamp his authority by sailing the side home by his
own.

Jishan smote four fours and six sixes in his 48 ball-73. Tofael Ahmed was not
out on 23 while opener Taufiq Khan Tushar made 24.
