Dhaka, 16 Feb - The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) included wicket-keeper batter Liton Das into the Bangladesh Tigers camp, which starts today at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium.

Bangladesh Tigers camp is a specialized coaching camp which includes the
players who are out of the national team alongside the promising players.

The domestic cricket season will start with Dhaka Premier League (DPL) in the
first week of March. Until then, the cricketers will continue the training
under the supervision of local coaches, said BCB Cricket Operations Manager
Shahriar Nafees.

"The camp starts with a fitness session and later the cricketers will have
skill training," Nafees told the reporters here today.

"The camp usually is conducted when the cricketers get some off time. Since
we have 12/15 days until the DPL starts, the promising cricketers and the
cricketers out of the national team can be in practice. When the league
starts, everyone will start practicing with their own team."

Although there is no international or domestic activities at home right at
this moment, the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium is buzzing with
cricketers.

Women cricketers are practicing for the upcoming Premier League while the
Under-19 team is training at the Academy Ground.

In the meantime, the male cricketers who are at the Tigers camp start
training at Indoors.

Bangladesh national team, however, is in Dubai for the Champions Trophy at
this moment. They will take on India here on February 19 to kick off their
mission.

The Tigers will then travel to Rawalpindi in Pakistan to take on hosts
Pakistan and New Zealand on February 24 and 27 respectively.
