Tigresses beat Scotland in practice game

Dhaka, 7 April - Bangladesh Women's cricket team secured a five-wicket win over Scotland in a warm-up fixture to kick-start their preparations for the ICC Women's Cricket World Cup Qualifier 2025 in style at the LCCA Ground in Pakistan Sunday.

 
Electing to bat first, Scotland put up a competitive 251-7, riding on half-centuries from Captain Sarah Bryce who made team-best 60 and opener Darcey Carter (55).

Bangladesh displayed a strong batting show to reach the winning target of 252 
in 41.2 overs, losing five wickets with Sobhana Mostary leading the way, 
hammering 53 ball-57 not out. Opener Farzana Hoque Pinky made 48 and Sharmin 
Akhter Supta contributed 47. 

Ritu Moni picked up two for 22 in her economical spell, and Marufa Akter 
grabbed one for 22 in the bowling for Bangladesh. BSS
