Dhaka, 9 April - Seasoned campaigner Mushfiqur Rahim blasted a 57 ball-75 as Mohammedan Sporting Club romped to a 74-run victory over Agrani Bank, overcoming a scintillating century of Amite Hasan at BKSP-3 ground today in a Dhaka Premier League (DPL) game.

Mahidul Islam Ankon complemented Mushfiqur's aggressive knock with 64 while
Captain Towhid Hridoy made 42 to help Mohammedan compile a hefty 287-7.

Amite fought lonely for Agrani Bank, hitting 123 ball-105 with seven fours
and one six as his side eventually were bowled out for 213 in 47.2 overs.

Fast bowler Ebadot Hossain and offspinner Mehidy Hasan Miraz snapped up three
wickets apiece to derail Agrani Bank. Nasum Ahmed and Taijul Islam took two
wickets each to further torment Agrani batters.

Mohammedan continued to be at second spot with just two defeats in 10
matches. Agrani Bank, however, still have the chance to move to Super Six
despite the defeat as they have six wins in 10 matches. BSS
