Anamul Haque Bijoy has been recalled to Bangladesh’s Test squad for the second match against Zimbabwe, scheduled to begin on April 28 at the Bir Shrestha Flight Lieutenant Motiur Rahman Stadium in Chattogram.

Bijoy, who has been in red-hot form in the ongoing Dhaka Premier League (DPL), last featured in a Test match back in 2022. His return is one of two changes made by the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) following the team’s narrow three-wicket loss in the first Test in Sylhet.

The BCB has also brought in uncapped left-arm spinner Tanvir Islam, who replaces pacer Nahid Rana. Rana had been granted a No Objection Certificate (NOC) to participate in the Pakistan Super League (PSL).

Bangladesh Squad for 2nd Test:
Najmul Hossain Shanto (Captain), Mahmudul Hasan Joy, Shadman Islam, Anamul Haque Bijoy, Mominul Haque, Mushfiqur Rahim, Mahidul Islam Ankon, Jaker Ali Anik, Mehidy Hasan Miraz (Vice-Captain), Taijul Islam, Nayeem Hasan, Tanvir Islam, Hasan Mahmud, Syed Khaled Ahmed, Tanzim Hasan Sakib.
