West Indies won the toss and asked Bangladesh to bat first in the first ODI of the three-match series in Dhaka on Saturday.

Right before this series, Bangladesh suffered a thumping defeat to Afghanistan.

However, before the 3-0 ODI series defeat to Afghans, Bangladesh beat them in the T20I series.

With the West Indies series at home, Bangladesh will aim to rectify previous mistakes and stand strong as an ODI team.
