Australia powered to a dominant eight-wicket victory in the day-night second Test against England on Sunday for an ominous 2-0 lead in the Ashes series.


The visitors resumed day four on 134-6, trailing by 43 runs, before a rearguard action by Ben Stokes (50) and Will Jacks (41) helped set a target of 65.

Australia surged home for the loss of two wickets with Steve Smith smashing a six to win the match and leave England shell-shocked ahead of the third Test in Adelaide on December 17, reports BSS.
