20 held in anti-crime crackdown in Jatrabari

Police arrested 20 people allegedly involved in various criminal activities during a special drive conducted by the Jatrabari Police Station in the capital on Wednesday.


According to a press release issued today by the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) on, the detainees include suspects wanted in regular criminal cases as well as individuals accused of involvement in different offences.

The operation was carried out as part of an ongoing effort to maintain law and order and curb criminal activities in the Jatrabari area.

Police said legal proceedings against the arrested individuals are underway, adding that such special drives will continue across the area to ensure public safety and strengthen security, reports BSS.
