Cocktail Explodes Beneath Agargaon Metro Station

A crude bomb, locally known as a cocktail, exploded beneath Agargaon Metro Station in Dhaka on Monday night.

The explosion occurred at around 9:15pm on November 2, raising concern among people in the area.

Officer-in-Charge of Sher-e-Bangla Nagar Police Station Md Monirul Islam confirmed the incident.

He said police heard the sound of an explosion and immediately sent a team to the scene to investigate.

However, the officer could not immediately confirm whether anyone had been injured or killed.

Details about the circumstances surrounding the explosion and those responsible were not immediately available.

Police are investigating the incident.
