Passenger held with gold at Shah Amanat Airport Ctg

Customs officials arrested a passenger along with six gold bars, 19 iphones and many gold ornaments at Shah Amanat International Airport in Chattogram on Thursday morning.



Customs officials arrested a passenger along with six gold bars, 19 iphones and many gold ornaments at Shah Amanat International Airport in Chattogram on Thursday morning.
The detainee Mizanur Rahman came from Dubai at a flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines.
Customs Intelligence Additional Deputy Director M Sultan Mahmud confirmed the news.
Acting on a tip-off, a team of Customs Intelligence conducted a drive on the flight and arrested Mizanur. The items were recovered after searching his body and bags, he said.
A legal action has been taken against him.
