62 held in anti-drug drives in city

DMP in anti-drug drives detained 72 people along with drugs from different areas of the city in last 24 hours as of 6:00am on Saturday.



Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) in anti-drug drives detained 72 people along with drugs from different areas of the city in last 24 hours as of 6:00am on Saturday.
During the drives, 8,629 Yaba tablets, 22.650  kilograms of hemp, 57 grams of heroin and 11 injections were recovered from their possessions, DMP Media and Public Relations deputy commisioner Md Faruq Hossain said.
A total of 46 cases were filed with the police stations concerned under the Narcotics Control Act.
