Gunfight again: Drug dealer killed in Cox’s Bazar

A man suspected to be a drug dealer was killed in a “gunfight” with Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) at Domdomia area in Teknaf upazila of Cox’s Bazar.



A man suspected to be a drug dealer was killed in a “gunfight” with Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) at Domdomia area in Teknaf upazila of Cox’s Bazar.
The gunfight took place on the bank of Naf river at Domdomia area of the upazila early Monday (September 19).
The identity of the deceased could not be known yet.
“Acting on a tip-off, a team of RAB went to the spot and the drug dealers started shooting. A drug dealer was killed when RAB also fired back in self-defense,” confirmed Md Billal Uddin, Assistant Director of RAB-15.
Legal action is being taken in this regard, he added.
