BGB member shot dead in Joypurhat

A member of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) Joypurhat-20 Battalion has died after sustaining bullet injures in Joypurhat Modern District Hospital.



A member of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) Joypurhat-20 Battalion has died after sustaining bullet injures in Joypurhat Modern District Hospital.

The deceased was known as Nepal Chandra Das, son of Narayan Das, hailed from Meghchami village under Madhukhali upazila of Faridpur.

Joypurhat Modern District Hospital caretaker Sardar Rashed Mobarak said, the BGB member was brought to the emergency department of the hospital at around 10:30 pm. We found him dead. Bullet injury marks were found in his chest and right hand.

Confirming the matter, Joypurhat Sadar police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Sirajul Islam said, autopsy report has been prepared.
