Directorate of National Consumer Rights Protection (DNCRP) has seized about 500 sacks of sugar stored illegally at a warehouse in Halishahar area of Chattogram City.



Directorate of National Consumer Rights Protection (DNCRP) has seized about 500 sacks of sugar stored illegally at a warehouse in Halishahar area of Chattogram City.

They have also fined Satata Traders Tk 50,000 for selling products at a higher price.

A team led by DNCRP Chattogram office Deputy Director Md Anisur Rahman conducted the drive on Tuesday (22 November).

He said this sugar was bought at Tk 90 per kg and it was being sold at Tk 105 per kg.
