A judicial probe body formed over a torturing incident on a female student of the Islamic University (IU) in Kushtia has submitted its report.



A judicial probe body formed over a torturing incident on a female student of the Islamic University (IU) in Kushtia has submitted its report.
The probe report was submitted to the bench of Justice JBM Hasan and Justice Rajik Al Jalil on Tuesday.
Deputy Attorney General Tushar Kanti Roy submitted the report.
According to the report, the probe body found evidence of torture on Phulpori Khatun, a student of Finance and Banking Department, Session: 2021-2022.
The High Court ordered to form a judicial probe body over a torturing incident on the female student.
The victim filed a complaint with the Islamic University in Kushtia accusing two students of torturing her for staying in a dormitory without informing them.
