Police recovered the bodies of three members of a family from Chunarughat upazila of Habiganj district on Thursday afternoon.



Police recovered the bodies of three members of a family from Chunarughat upazila of Habiganj district on Thursday afternoon.

The deceased were identified as Sojjul Haque, 45, his wife Jasmine Akhter, 35, and their elder son Eyasin Miah, 10, -- all were residents of Gadishyam village under Ahmadabad village in the upazila.

Quoting locals, Chunarughat Police Station officer-in-charge Rashedul Haque said locals saw Sajjul Islam was hanging from a branch of a tree beside his house and informed police.

Being informed, police recovered another two bodies from the house.

The bodies were sent to a hospital morgue for autopsy and legal steps are under process in this regard, the OC added.
