10 bodies recovered from fishing trawler in Cox’s Bazar

10 bodies of unidentified people, hands and legs tied up, were recovered on Sunday from a trawler that floated to Coxs Bazar.



Cox’s Bazar, Apr 23 - Half-composed bodies of 10 unidentified people were recovered from a fishing trawler from Nazira point of Cox's Bazar sea beach on Sunday. 

Shahjahan Sikder, Deputy Assistant Director of the Fire Service  and Civil Defence headquarters media cell, said that the fishing trawler was towed to the shore by unidentified people.  The trawler went missing two to three weeks ago.

A fire service unit rushed to the scene receiving the news that people saw the hands of human beings, he said.

Later they recovered the bodies from the trawler. The rescue operation ended at 3:45pm. - UNB
