School girl raped in Kalapara

Patuakhali: In Kalapara of Patuakhali, a youth named Raihan Gazi (22) has been accused of raping a schoolgirl studying in class IX. In this incident, on Tuesday evening, the victim student's father filed a rape case in Kalapara police station against three people, making Raihan the main accused.
According to the case, the student of Dhankhali MU Secondary School of Upazila Champapur Union is a former acquaintance of Raihan. On May 28, Raihan took the student to a tin room adjacent to the school while the school class was on. Later, with the help of the other two accused, he raped the student against her will by luring her of marriage. At that time, when the locals came forward on the shouts of students, they ran away.
MD. Jasim, OC of Kalapara PS, said that the student has been sent to Patuakhali for medical report. Police are trying their best to arrest the accused. - Gofran Biswas Palash
