A case has been filed against three people over the road crash in Chhottrokanda of Jhalakathi that left at least 17 people dead .

Sub Inspector Sushankar Mollik of Jhalakati Sadar Thana filed the case around 11.30am on Sunday.
The accused are driver, supervisor and helper.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Jhalakati Sadar Thana Mohammad Nasir Uddin Sarkar confirmed the news.
According to police and locals, a bus was going to Barishal from Bhandaria in Pirojpur. The bus plunged into a pond near Dhansiri Union Parishad on Saturday morning as the driver lost control over it, leaving 17 dead.
