A case has been filed against three people over the road crash in Chhottrokanda of Jhalakathi that left at least 17 people dead .
A case has been filed against three people over the road crash in Chhottrokanda of Jhalakathi that left at least 17 people dead and many other injured.
Sub Inspector Sushankar Mollik of Jhalakati Sadar Thana filed the case around 11.30am on Sunday.
The accused are driver, supervisor and helper.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Jhalakati Sadar Thana Mohammad Nasir Uddin Sarkar confirmed the news.
According to police and locals, a bus was going to Barishal from Bhandaria in Pirojpur. The bus plunged into a pond near Dhansiri Union Parishad on Saturday morning as the driver lost control over it, leaving 17 dead.
