Inspector of Tejgaon Industrial Thana MB Rana, also investigation officer of the case, produced him before the court on Thursday.
After hearing, Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Mohammad Sheikh Sadi ordered to send him to jail.
Himel was arrested from old part of the Dhaka on Monday evening.
Motorcyclist Bhuban Chandra Shil, who was injured after being shot in the head during indiscriminate firing by a group of terrorists in Tejgaon industrial belt of the capital on September 18, passed away at a hospital.
A group of terrorists fired indiscriminately at the private car of top terrorist Tarik Saeed alias Mamun around 10:00pm on September 18. Bhuban was shot in the head when he was on a motorcycle near the Bangladesh Government Press area in Tejgaon.
Initially, Bhuban was taken to Samorita Hospital and later transferred to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH). Relatives later moved him to Popular Hospital, where he was put on life support. Later, he died there.
