Dump of cocktail bombs found ahead of UP polls in Chandpur

Chandpur, Dec 25 --Police recovered sixty fresh cocktails from Degair village of Shahrasti upazila in Chandpur on Saturday afternoon.

Locals spotted the cocktails inside a shopping bag and informed police.

On information, a team of Shahrasti police recovered the cocktails in abandoned condition near Bhuiyan Bari mosque of the village, said officer-in-charge of Shahrasti Model Police Station Abdul Mannan.

The cocktails were taken ito police custody, he added.

The incident ahead of polls created panic among the locals. – UNB
