Bus set on fire in Gulistan

A bus of 'Bikalpa Paribahan' was set on fire in the capital's Gulistan area on Monday afternoon when the main opposition BNP 's 48-hour blockade is underway.

The incident happened at about 2:05pm in front of Bangabandhu Square Hall Market.

Fire service and Civil Defence duty officer Lima Khanam said a Bikalpo Paribahan bus was set on fire in Gulistan area. Being informed, two fire-fighting units went to the scene and brought the fire under control.

Monday is the last day of the 48-hour blockade enforced by the BNP and Jamaat.
