Jamuna Express train catch fire in Jamalpur

Unidentified criminals set fire to three carriages of the Jamuna Express train in Jamalpur's Sarishabari early Sunday (November 19).

The incident took place at around 1:20 am.

Confirming the matter, Sarishabari police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mushfiqur Rahman said miscreants set fire to three compartments of the train. Later, the fire fighters doused the blaze around 4 am.

No one received injury following the fire. Investigation is underway in this regard, he added.
