Bus set on fire in Gazipur during 24-hour blockade

A bus was set on fire at Uttar Salna in Gazipur city Wednesday, during the ongoing 24-hour blockade called by BNP.

On information, two firefighting units rushed to the spot and extinguished the blaze.

A 24-hour countrywide rail, road and waterways blockade is underway with some incidents of arson attacks.

Traffic movement on Dhaka-Mymensing and Dhaka-Tangail highways was thin, while vehicular movement on internal routes was normal.
