Bus set on fire in Ashulia

Being informed, two firefighter units from DEPZ Fire Station rushed to the spot and doused the blaze, said Pranab Chowdhury, senior station master of the Fire Station.



A passenger bus was set on fire by miscreants at Ashulia union under Savar upazila in the capital on Monday evening.

Arsonists set the fire on 'Itihas Paribahan' bus around 7.30 pm in Kabirpur bus stand area under the union.

Being informed, two firefighter units from DEPZ Fire Station rushed to the spot and doused the blaze, said Pranab Chowdhury, senior station master of the Fire Station.

However, no casualties were reported in this fire incident, he added.
