Train set on fire in Tejgaon, 4 killed

At least four people were killed when miscreants set fire to a train at Dhaka’s Tejgaon railway station early Tuesday (December 19).

The incident happened around 5:00 am at Mohanganj Express, which was arriving from Netrokana to Dhaka.

Rakibul Hasan, duty officer at fire service and civil defense control room confirmed the matter.

On information, three fire units rushed to the spot and brought the blaze under control around 6:45 am.

Tejgaon police station Officer-in-Charge Mohsin said the bodies were sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital morgue.
