Swechasebak League leader 'hacked to death' in Jhalakathi

The incident took place at Chauddaburia village under Siddhakathi union.



Miscreants allegedly hacked to death a Swechasebak League leader in Jhalakathi's Nalchity upazila on Sunday night.

The incident took place at Chauddaburia village under Siddhakathi union at around 10 pm.

Deceased Fuad Kazi, 40, was the President of Siddhakathi Union Swechasebak League.

According to locals, a gang of miscreants hacked Fuad Kazi to death with sharp weapons on the ground of a primary school in front of his house and ran away.

Nalchity Police Station officer-in-charge Murad Ali confirmed the news.
