Two men shot dead in Jhenaidah

The deceased are Shamim Hossain, son of Baghadanga village of the upazila, and Montu Mia, son of Noyan Mondal of the village.



Two men have been shot dead in Maheshpur upazila of Jhenaidah.

The deceased are Shamim Hossain, son of Baghadanga village of the upazila, and Montu Mia, son of Noyan Mondal of the village.

According to locals, Shamim and Montu were uncle and nephew. They used to do business with Torikul Islam Akal and Ibra.  Akal and Ibra shot them when they were going from their area on Wednesday afternoon.

Shamim died on the spot and Montu was taken to a Jibonnagar hospital where he died later.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Moheshpur Police Station Mahbubur Rahman confirmed the news.
