57 fake SSC candidates, center secretary held in Naogaon

Sapahar Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Masud Hossain conducted a raid at that center based on the secret information during the SSC and equivalent examinations on Tuesday.



Deputy Commissioner of Naogaon Md Golam Mowla has claimed that all 57 SSC candidates of Saraftullah Fazil Madrasa center at Sapahar upazila in the district are fake.

In the meantime, the secretary of that center including the students have been detained for their alleged involvement in the proxy exam, he said.

It is learnt that Sapahar Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Masud Hossain conducted a raid at that center based on the secret information during the SSC and equivalent examinations on Tuesday (February 20) morning.

Those students had taken part in the earlier Bangla I and Bangla II paper exams following the same way.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Sapahar Police Station Palash Chandra Dev told the media that 58 people have been detained. All their admit card and other documents are being verified. The number of real fake students can be known after verifying the necessary documents including photographs.
