Chattogram man stabbed to death by sister-in-law

A man was stabbed to death by sister-in-law in Chattogram's Lohagara over a family dispute Wednesday night.



Chattogram, June 23 : A 35-year-old man was stabbed to death by his sister-in-law in Chattogram's Lohagara over a family dispute Wednesday night.
The deceased, identified as Mohammad Yunus, was from Lohagara's Borohatia union. He left behind two sons and one daughter.
Locals caught Yunus' sister-in-law Nasima Akhter and handed her over to the law enforcers, Lohagara Police Station Officer-in-Charge Zakir Hossain confirmed.
Borohatia union parishad Chairman Mohammad Junaid said, "On Wednesday evening, Yunus had an argument with his elder brother Mohammad Yusuf over family issues. At one stage, Nasima stabbed Yunus with a sharp weapon, leaving him critically injured."
"Next, Yunus was rushed to upazila health complex where he was declared dead at 8pm", reports UNB
