Couple found dead in Mymensingh

Police recovered the bodies of a couple hanging from fan in a house at Jamirdia Masterbari in Bhaluka upazila of Mymensingh district on on Wednesday night.


The deceased were identified as Sagar Islam, 22 and his wife Nupur, 19 of Birol upazila in Dinajpur district, both were garment workers.

Humayun Kabir, inspector of Bhaluka Model Police Station, said they couple got married following a love affair but their families did not accept it.

On Wednesday night, local people found them hanging from the ceiling fan and informed police, reports UNB.

Later, police recovered the bodies around 9 pm and sent those to Mymensingh Medical College and Hospital.
