10-year-old girl raped in Dhaka

Dhaka, 10 Mar - A ten-year-old girl was allegedly raped in the capital's Baridhara on Sunday
A case was filed with Gulshan police Station on Monday, said sub-inspector Naim Uddin Sujon of the station.
According to the case statement, the girl was a resident of Baridhara, the capital's diplomatic quarter, where she lived with her mother.
On Sunday morning, one Sajal Hossain Palash, 40, entered their residence and finding her alone, violated her.
Later, the girl revealed the matter to her mother when she returned. She was sent to the one-stop crisis center of Dhaka Medical College and Hospital on Monday.
Police arrested Sajal in this connection.
