50-year-old unidentified man’s body found in Sylhet

Police have recovered the body of a 50-year-old man from the side of a road at Haripur area of Sylhet’s Jaintapur on the Sylhet-Tamabil highway.

The unidentified man’s body was recovered at around 2pm. It had wound marks in the nose and ears, said police.

 According to locals, they found the body on the Sylhet-Tamabil highway in front of Hemu Tinpara High School in Fatehpur Union of Jaintapur around 11am and informed police, reports UNB.

 Jaintapur Model Police Station OC Golam Dastagir Ahmed said that the deceased was wearing black trousers and a blue shirt. There were wound marks on the nose and ears. His left arm and left leg were broken.

The body has been sent to Sylhet’s Osmani Medical College Hospital for autopsy. Attempts are being made to find those involved in it, he said.
