Miscreants set fire to a parked bus in Narsinghpur area under Ashulia Police Station early Wednesday.

Abu Kalam, a night guard who saw the incident, said three to four miscreants set ablaze a bus of ‘Alif Transport’ near the Women and Children Hospital at dawn and fled the scene.

“The vehicle was engulfed in flames within minutes," he said, adding that although firefighters managed to bring the blaze under control, the bus had already been gutted by the fire.

Officer-in-charge Abdul Hannan of Ashulia Police Station said a case will be filed in this connection and efforts are underway to detain those involved in the incident, reports UNB.
