BSA arranges 12-day puppet show in 120 locations
Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy (BSA) has organised a twelve day long puppetry festival titled "Gonojagoron er Putul Natya Utshob", which kicked off Friday.
Puppetry is considered as one of the most unique forms of narrative theater. It is one of the crucial sectors of folk culture that plays a pivotal role in mass awareness.
Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy (BSA) has organised a twelve day long puppetry festival titled "Gonojagoron er Putul Natya Utshob", which kicked off Friday.
According to BSA, puppetry is one of the most effective means of folk education. Through its presentation and stylistic approach over the ages, puppetry has played a significant role in the moral development of individuals and in bringing about social and national change by explaining content, time and context.
