Launch services have been suspended on Daulatdia-Paturia route to avoid unwanted incidents due to bad weather.

Authorities suspended launch movement on the route from 3:30 pm on Wednesday (May 10).
Nurul Anowar Milon, manager of Daulatdia Launch Ghat, confirmed the information to risingbd.
He said, “Launch movement has been risky due to bad weather. So, the launch services have been suspended to avoid accidents on the route.”
Mohammad Salahuddin, manager (commerce) of Daulatdia Ghat Branch of Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Corporation (BIWTC), said, “Though launch services have been suspended, ferry movement is still normal on Daulatdia-Paturia route.”
