Dhaka and London have reiterated their commitment to continue working to strengthen and deepen the Bangladesh-UK bilateral partnership, officials said today.

The pledge was made when State Minister for Foreign Affairs Shama Obaed Islam met UK Trade Envoy Baroness Rosie Winterton of Doncaster at a dinner hosted by British High Commissioner to Bangladesh Sarah Cooke last evening, said a foreign ministry’s press release here today.

The meeting focused on advancing bilateral relations and exploring avenues for enhanced cooperation between the two countries.

The engagement reflected the shared intent of Bangladesh and the United Kingdom to further strengthen their longstanding partnership across key sectors, reports BSS.
