Australian parliamentary delegation meets PM

An Australian parliamentary delegation, led by Speaker of House of Representatives Milton Dick, today paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Tarique Rahman.


The 13-member delegation met the premier at the Prime Minister's office in the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban here this afternoon, PM's Press Secretary AAM Saleh Shibly said.

"A parliamentary delegation led by the Speaker of the Australian Parliament met the Honorable Prime Minister and Leader of the House at his office. It was a courtesy call on," he said.

Jatiya Sangsad (JS) Deputy Speaker Barrister Kayser Kamal, Chief Whip Nurul Islam Moni and State Minister for Foreign Affairs Shama Obaed Islam were present during the meeting, reports BSS.
