Iran, Turkiye FMs discuss Hormuz, regional conflicts

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi discussed ongoing regional conflicts and diplomatic efforts during a phone call with his Turkish counterpart Hakan Fidan, state media from both countries reported on Saturday.
During the conversation, the two ministers reviewed the situation in the Strait of Hormuz and recent attacks on Saudi Arabia.
Both sides stressed the need to avoid widening the crisis, prevent further escalation and maintain continuous diplomatic consultations to bring stability to the region.
Araghchi also held separate phone discussions with Iraqi Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein and Omani Foreign Minister Badr Albusaidi to address the broader regional situation and coordinate diplomatic efforts, reports AL Jazeera.
