Rubio, Turkish FM discuss US-Iran negotiations

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan met with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio on the sidelines of a G20 foreign ministers meeting in the US, according to the state-run Anadolu Agency.


The pair discussed US-Iran negotiations, the situation in Gaza, Russia’s war in Ukraine, other regional developments, and bilateral relations.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan told his US counterpart, Trump, in a telephone call on Wednesday that Turkiye was monitoring developments in the Strait of Hormuz and Yemen, and supporting diplomatic efforts to resolve the issues, according to the Turkish presidential communications office, reports AL Jazeera.
