Diplomats join Foreign Office outreach program to Cox's Bazar

Dhaka, Feb 28 - Diplomats stationed in Dhaka along with representatives of international organisations, joined an outreach programme to learn more about Bangladesh.

Led by Foreign Minister Hasan Mahmud, Foreign Secretary Masud Bin Momen, envoys and diplomats from embassies and missions in Dhaka, along with representatives of international organisations visited Chattogram and Cox’s Bazar on February 27, 28.

On February 27, the delegation visited West Point of Bangladesh Naval Academy and Karnaphuli Tunnel.

Following these visits, the Foreign Minister addressed the media at Chattogram Railway Station before starting for Cox’s Bazar.

Later, in the evening, a culture event was organised by Cox’s Bazar Shilpakala Academy showcasing traditional songs, dances and a drama on climate-related issues.

Foreign Minister Hasan Mahmud, Whip of the Parliament Saimum Sarwar Kamal and Foreign Secretary Masud Bin Momen spoke at the function. - UNB
