OIC Secy-Gen Receives New Ambassador of Norway to Saudi Arabia

Mr. Hissein Brahim Taha, received today, 21 October 2024, at the General Secretariat headquarters, Her Excellency Kjersti Tromsdal, new Ambassador of the Kingdom of Norway



Jeddah, 21 October, 2024- H.E. The Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Mr. Hissein Brahim Taha, received today, 21 October 2024, at the General Secretariat headquarters, Her Excellency Kjersti Tromsdal, new Ambassador of the Kingdom of Norway to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. 

During the meeting, both sides explored avenues to enhance cooperation between the OIC and the Kingdom of Norway, and exchanged views on issues of common interest, especially the Palestinian question. 

The Secretary-General commended Norway’s contribution to international peace and security and its support for development efforts in OIC member states.

For her part, the Norwegian Ambassador expressed appreciation for the OIC’s role in the international arena. – OIC News
