Pakistan High Commissioner to Bangladesh Syed Ahmed Maroof on Tuesday night met BNP chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia.

The meeting was held in Khaleda Zia’s residence in the city’s Gulshan area.

BNP standing committee member Dr AZM Zahid Hossain and its organizing secretary Shama Obaed were present.

"The Pakistani High Commissioner exchanged greetings with Madam (Khaleda Zia). He inquired about her health,” Zahid Hossain said after the meeting.

Earlier British High Commissioner Sarah Cooke and Saudi Ambassador to Bangladesh Issa bin Youssef Al-Duhailan met Khaleda Zia on September 5 and November 25 respectively, reports UNB.
