Indian Foreign Secretary due in Dhaka on Dec 9

Dhaka, Dec 6 - The Indian Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) on Friday confirmed that its Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri is scheduled to visit Bangladesh on December 9.

MEA Spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal, at a weekly briefing in New Delhi, said the Indian Foreign Secretary will meet his Bangladesh counterpart Md Jashim Uddin and will have several other meetings in Dhaka.

The Indian Foreign Secretary will hold Foreign Office Consultations with his Bangladesh counterpart on December 9.

"This is part of our structured interactions with the Bangladesh side," said the MEA Spokesperson. - UNB
