Jeddah, 15 December, 2024 - The Organization of Islamic Cooperation has condemned the horrific massacre committed by the Israeli occupation on 13 December 2024, in the Nuseirat camp, which resulted in dozens of martyrs and wounded and the indiscriminate destruction of residential buildings and infrastructure, considering it an extension of organized state terrorism and the ongoing crime of genocide for more than fourteen months against the Palestinian people.

The Organization also welcomed the adoption by the United Nations General Assembly of a resolution calling for an immediate, permanent, and unconditional ceasefire and facilitating the entry of humanitarian aid into all parts of the Gaza Strip, as well as a resolution on supporting UNRWA's mandate and its vital role in providing basic services to Palestinian refugees.

In this regard, the Organization renewed its call on the international community to assume its responsibilities and compel Israel, the occupying power, to abide by the international law and to implement relevant United Nations resolutions. – OIC News
