US National Security Adviser Talks with Bangladesh CA Yunus

Chief Adviser Prof Muhammad Yunus



US National Security Adviser Jack Sullivan spoke with Professor Muhammad Yunus, Chief Adviser to the Interim Government of Bangladesh, on December 23. During their conversation, both leaders emphasized their commitment to safeguarding the rights of all individuals, regardless of religion.


The White House issued a statement, which read, “National Security Adviser Jack Sullivan spoke today with Muhammad Yunus, thanking him for his leadership in Bangladesh during a difficult period.”

The statement further highlighted, “Both leaders reaffirmed their dedication to respecting and protecting human rights. Sullivan reiterated the United States' support for a prosperous, stable, and democratic Bangladesh and expressed continued U.S. assistance in addressing the challenges Bangladesh faces.”
