Touhid for enhancing trade cooperation with Kosovo

Foreign Affairs Adviser Md Touhid Hossain today called for enhancing trade and economic collaboration between Bangladesh and Kosovo by promoting engagement and interactions between peoples of both the countries.


He made the remark while newly appointed Kosovo Ambassador to Bangladesh Lulzim Pllana paid a curtsey call on him at the foreign ministry, said a ministry's press release.  

During the meeting, Ambassador Pllana expressed gratitude for Bangladesh's support for recognizing Kosovo as an independent and sovereign state.

He affirmed his commitment to further advancing bilateral cooperation in various sectors, including economic collaboration as well as educational and cultural exchanges.

The adviser welcomed the ambassador to Bangladesh and expressed satisfaction with the strong bilateral relations between the two nations, reports BSS.

He wished the envoy's success in his new role and assured him of Bangladesh government's support in fulfilling his duties and responsibilities.
