EU Ambassador Meets CHT Adviser

European Union Ambassador to Bangladesh Michael Miller today met with Chattogram Hill Tracts (CHT) Affairs Adviser Supradip Chakma at Parbotto Chattogram Complex here.


During the meeting, the EU Ambassador assured the EU's commitment to special cooperative investments in the CHT, focusing on livelihood development, water crisis resolution, environmental protection, topsoil conservation, ecotourism, and renewable energy, said a press release.

Adviser Supradip expressed gratitude to the EU for its cooperation in Bangladesh's development.

The EU Ambassador expressed interest in investing in the solar energy and renewable energy sectors in Bangladesh, reports BSS.

CHT Affairs Secretary Md Abdul Khaleque and senior officials were present at the meeting.
